Hey,
I'm Marten B. Kante
— also going by tiyn.
I'm a Master's student in Computer Science at the Carl von Ossietzky University of
Oldenburg, focusing on Machine Learning and modern neural architectures.
I am particularly interested in human-centered and privacy-respecting approaches to AI —
systems that support individual autonomy rather than undermine it.
Alongside my studies, I work in applied research, where I support projects around quality
assurance and cyber-physical systems.
I enjoy setting up clean development environments — lightweight Linux setups,
straightforward Docker workflows, tools that stay simple and predictable.
Outside of work and research, I practice fencing. I value it for the way it combines
physical effort with mental clarity and quick decision-making.
